Alien Breed 2: Assault

Alien Breed 2: Assault is an isometric shooter with survival elements, a second part in the series, following the original release of 1996 and its 2010 remake. The setting of the game is the distant future, on board a spaceship, seemingly attacked by an unknown foe. The protagonist of Alien Breed is Theodore J. Conrad, a Chief Engineer at a spaceship, facing off troubles of crashing into an enemy ship and the consequent invasion of its inhabitants. The player faces off hordes of aliens throughout the levels of the game, following a story of survival, unknown experiments and the eventual fate of our hero. The game features a vast arsenal of weapons to choose from, each with their pros and cons, and different pickups to help Conrad on his quest. Alien Breed 2: Assault includes 2-player cooperative mode, where players can either complete the story together or face off in survival mode, in which they have to stand against endless swarms of enemies. Steam is fully supported for the game, allowing players to compete using leaderboards and challenge each other to beat their scores.
